Biryani is most popular dish in South Asia. There are many type of biryani dishes, Biryani is a classical form of a rice dish which is made with chicken, meat, meat balls, vegetables etc Many kind of spices use in biryani.
Especially for those who love the rice, they never stay away from biryani.
Today we will see the recipe of chicken Tikka biryani.
Ingredient
For chicken tikka Marination
- Chicken pieces 5 Legs
- garlic/ginger 1 tbs finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- Crushed red chilli 1 tsp
- Ground cumin 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Yogurt 2 tbs
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp

For Biryani gravy
- Onion 5 medium size
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbs
- Tomatoes 4 fine slices
- Cinnamon Stick 1 small
- Crushed red chilli 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1& 1/2 tsp
- cumin seed 1 tsp
- Black paper 1 tsp
- Yogurt 3 tbs
- Biryani Masala 2 tbs
- Dry plum 5
- Mint 2 tbs
Instruction
- In pan heat oil and fry onion until golden brown.
- Add cumin seeds, fry them until get good smell.
- Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
- Add cinnamon stick.
- Add tomatoes and fry them until they get soft enough.
- Add all spices one by one.(crushed chilli, salt, Red chilli powder, turmeric)
- In a bowl put some Yogurt, add Biryani Masala in it, add dry Plums too.
- Then yogurt mixture add in the the gravy.
- Stir, mix with gravy. Cover it for a Minute.
- Place the Tikka grilled chicken, don’t stir much.
- Tikka Gravy is ready, need to layer with rice.
- Placed the rice on top and add some food Colour on.
- Cover it and leave for 10 minutes on very low flame.
- After 10 minutes, stir gently and mix properly.
- Chicken Tikka Biryani is ready.
- Served with Raita and salad.
