Biryani is most popular dish in South Asia. There are many type of biryani dishes, Biryani is a classical form of a rice dish which is made with chicken, meat, meal balls, vegetables etc Many kind of spices use in biryani.
Especially for those who love the rice, they never stay away from biryani.
Today we will see the recipe of Kofta(meat balls)biryani.
Ingredient
For meatball Marination
- Lamb/mutton mince 500 gm
- Onion 1 finely chopped or cut
- Salt to taste
- Crushed red chilli 1 tsp
- Ground cumin 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
Mix in a bowl and make small size balls, set aside.
For gravy
- Onion 2 medium size
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbs
- tomatoes 3 fine slices
- Crushed red chilli 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1& 1/2 tsp
- cumin seed 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Black paper 1 tsp
- BIryani Masala 1 tbs
- Dry plum 5
- Mint 2 tbs
Instruction
- In pan heat oil and fry onion until golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
- Add tomatoes and fry them until they get soft enough.
- Place the small kofta(meat ball), don’t stir until they get strong from down side.
- Stir gently, mix with gravy.
- when kofta get strong, add yogurt, and one tbs biryani masala.
- Mix well and fry them until the proper oil comes up.
- Gravy is ready, need to layer with rice.
Rice
Boil the rice same time when you getting ready the meat ball gravy.
Layer
In rice pan place one layer on rice add kofta gravy on it then again place the rice and add the gravy.
